Taken me a couple of weeks to get round to the last post.
Probably a few sore heads this morning.
Loch Ness still very lively, we had a choice of 1.5miles portage through the woods, but we’d lost one of the trolleys in the capsize yesterday or convert the canoes into two rafts and fight against the waves. We chose the latter.
An hour and a half of the hardest canoeing we did all week and we got around the headland, sailed into a sheltered bay. We were able to unlash the rafts and have an hours gentle paddle up to Inverness.
It was an amazing week, a great group of people and would not hesitate to do another trip.
